Appleby's Dairy is a renowned independent farmhouse dairy at Hawkstone Abbey Farm in Shropshire. The family produces traditional cloth-bound Cheshire cheese, whey butter and raw milk using milk from its own dairy herd. Cheesemaking at the farm dates back to 1952 and traditional methods remain central to production today. Appleby's cheeses have earned major industry awards and are regarded by specialist cheesemongers as benchmark examples of traditional Cheshire.
