Beacon Centre for the Blind is a long-established independent charity supporting people living with sight loss. Based in Wolverhampton, it provides practical support, skills, social opportunities and services designed to help people live independently. The organisation celebrated 150 years of supporting people with visual impairment in 2025 and continues to develop community projects. Its services and public contact centre remain actively operational in 2026.
