Gretton Books is a small independent publishing business with its editorial office in Crosby. Established in 2009, it publishes nonfiction history, current affairs and a growing list of fiction including new editions and translated work. Its books are available directly to readers as well as through the wider book trade. The company remains deliberately small and independently managed, with Liverpool now forming the centre of its editorial operations.
