Hillbark Players is an independent open-air Shakespeare theatre company founded in 1964 and based on the Wirral. It stages large-scale theatrical productions in a specially constructed outdoor auditorium at Royden Park. The company brings together local performers and technical teams to produce traditional Shakespearean drama. Its performances have become a longstanding part of the region's theatrical calendar.
