People First Merseyside is an independent self-advocacy charity run by and for people with learning disabilities. Established in 1988, it supports adults throughout Merseyside to understand their rights and make their voices heard. Its activities include advocacy, community participation, disability awareness and health education. The charity promotes greater equality and inclusion for people with learning disabilities.
