Shetland Animal Rescue is an independent registered charity based at Dans Farm in Hale, Liverpool. Established after its founder rescued a severely neglected Shetland pony, the sanctuary has developed into a substantial site caring for horses, ponies and other rescued animals. Its land and stable facilities provide long-term accommodation for elderly, abandoned and unwanted animals.
