It forms part of the small independent Ironbridge Pub Company and combines real ale with highly regarded food and boutique accommodation. The venue has received recognition for its dining and is currently introducing a new kitchen led by a Midlands Chef of the Year winner. Its historic setting beside the River Severn and strong hospitality reputation make it a notable Shropshire pub.
